Puppy Information

Registration

1. All puppies are registered with the American Border Collie Association. They can then be registered with AKC. It takes approximately two months to get the registration paperwork back. They are mailed back to the breeder then we mail them to you.

2. All puppies are registered with the TBC prefix. We only have 14 spaces for the name with the ABCA.

Transportation

1. Your puppy will be ready to pickup at the farm anytime after they are 7 weeks old.

2. If you are flying with your puppy make sure you check your airline requirements. All are different.

3. Puppies have to be 8 weeks old to fly from Virginia. The health certificate Dr. Green issued is normally used for the puppy to fly with you. The date on the certificate has to be within the last 10 days.

4. If you are shipping your puppy in cargo there are very specific requirements from the airlines. It requires a special health certificate and temperature acclamation form. We need time to schedule a vet appointment for these forms. This health certificate has to be within 10 days of flying. There are crate requirements also.

5. For ground transportation we work with Noah’s Arc.
